Guidelines

Guidelines are essential tools for providing evidence-based direction to anaesthesiologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals. In anaesthesia, they help unify clinical approaches and improve patient care. For many years, ESAIC has been a central force in supporting ongoing progress, promoting consistency in clinical practice across Europe, and raising the overall quality of care.

In 2024, the Guidelines Committee contributed significantly to evidence-based practice through the publication of 18 guidelines and statements.
